Report: "Blade Swept Areas By The Square Mile"
A multi-chapter set of basic theoretical material is available on our website ( www.home.inreach.com/integener ) that for the (really) first time explores and presents the aerodynamics of wind generator blades the way it is supposed to be understood. This has been up now for over a year, new chapters have been added, discussions on the AWEA Yahoo list have endorsed some of these concepts, and the hit count is approaching 4000 from both the U.S. and over 35 other nations. It is now linked to by many other websites and continues to find acceptance due to the "power of simplifying assumptions" that release so many important formulas for use. Some of the basics have even recently gone into a wind energy research journal for submission as an article.

We also are pleased to see the "Community Currencies" effort by Ecotopia. This is something I personally have had some experience with going all the way back to Paul Glover and his "Ithaca Hours" scrip in upper New York State. I also did what came to be known as "Bart, the Barter Buck" in a locality in central Minnesota at one time. These ideas are valuable and have merit in allowing the banking industry (for regular money) to see new possibilities for the subscribed regulation of the movement of payments. Money, you know, has been invented to expedite trade but sometimes its - what can be termed - "hardness" gets in its own way and it begins to restrict trade instead. Then value is no longer rewarded and great societal logjams develop as competition for money assumes first priority. Keep up this work. Some may criticize it but it has all the earmarks of something that will stay and come to involve much of the world. I was honestly surprised to see this.

Thanks for your time. We would be pleased to be linked to by your website.
